About Ann-Marie

I've spent years studying the body's detoxification systems, metabolism, and cellular health—not just academically, but with deep personal investment in understanding why so many people feel stuck despite doing "all the right things."

My Journey Into This Work

My path to holistic nutrition wasn't purely academic. Like many people who end up in this field, I've witnessed firsthand how the conventional approach to health often leaves people feeling dismissed, confused, and worse than when they started.

I've seen people follow expensive protocols that backfire. I've watched them restrict and push and detox harder, only to feel more depleted. And I've seen the moment when someone finally understands why their body has been responding the way it has—and how much that shift in perspective changes everything.

That's what drives this work.

My Education

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Holistic Nutrition. I have completed advanced training from the Functional Nutrition Allliance in Whole Body Systems and Functional (Root-Cause) Nutrition. I'm a Professional member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP) and a CellCore Biosciences Practitioner.

My background in psychology taught me something critical: you can't separate the mind from the body. Chronic stress, unresolved trauma, and nervous system dysregulation aren't just psychological experiences—they have profound biological effects. They activate Cell Danger Response, disrupt metabolism, impair detoxification, and keep the body locked in survival mode.
That's why my approach addresses both the biological and psychological aspects of healing. Because sustainable recovery requires both.

But beyond the credentials, what shapes my approach is a deep respect for the body's intelligence. Your body isn't broken. It's not failing you. It's doing exactly what it's designed to do given the inputs and conditions it's operating under.
What I Believe

I believe that most people don't need more willpower or stricter protocols. They need understanding. They need to know why their body went into survival mode, what's keeping it there, and how to create the conditions for it to feel safe enough to heal.

I don't diagnose, prescribe, or promise outcomes. What I provide is education, information, and wellness recommendations concerning nutrition and lifestyle—so you can make informed decisions that honor your body's current capacity.

Why I Do This

Because I know what it's like to feel gaslit by your own body. To do everything "right" and still feel stuck. To be told it's all in your head, or that you just need to try harder.

And I know the relief that comes from finally understanding the why behind it all.

If you're here because you're exhausted from protocols that haven't worked—or made you worse—I see you. And I'd be honored to help you understand what's really happening.
